Boy Scout Merit Badge Classes
The Utah CAF offers a Boy Scouts Merit Badge class on Aviation. These classes are taught by aviators in our museum which gives the boys a more hands-on presentation of the Boy Scout material. Our program is approved by the BSA. The charge is only $18 per Scout, including a workbook of the lesson material.
Most troops have camped out next to the hanger on the airport grounds and we allow access to the museum for the bathrooms at night (camping is $10/Scout).
Scout attendees should be familiar with all subjects contained in the official BSA Aviation Merit Badge publication, available online HERE. We provide a workbook that is used to review and enlarge on these topics during the class. You may download a copy of our Merit Badge booklet HERE
We are located on the west end of the Heber City-Russ McDonald airport. A map to our hangar is available at THIS LINK. You can pay by check sent to CAF Utah Wing PO Box 507, Heber City, UT 84032, or we can accept a credit card over the phone. We do require payment in advance.
