WW II AVIATION CADET FANTASY CAMP

Experience the life of an aviation cadet during our nation's greatest time of need. The Utah Wing of the Commemorative Air Force is offering a four day living history experience to immerse you in the fast paced life of the pilot trainees destined to serve their country around the globe from 1941-1945. You will fly the Stearman PT-17 / N2S primary trainer and the North American T-6 / SNJ advanced trainer; the two most iconic military aircraft of their era.

DATES:    2019 dates TBA 
Cost:  $5000.00 per person.

      Includes lodging, meals, flight gear, study materials, logbook, transportation from Salt Lake City.

               Schedule:
Day 1:
*0800              Stearman ground school
*0900              Basic Aerodynamics
*1000             First flight ground school preparation
* 1100 - 1700     Fly the Stearman

​Day 2:
*0800-1130            Second Stearman Flight
*1300 - 1700   GS - Aerobatics/Aviation Weather/Navigation   

Day 3:
*0730           T-6 ground school
*0800 - 1200  T-6 Intro Flight / Formation
*1300 - 1600  Selected Ground Schools

Day 4:
*0800 - 1200  T-6 Navigation / CAS / ACM Flight     
*0900 - 1600   Debrief / Pistol Qualification / Historic Airport Tour
Evening. Dinner and graduation ceremony at Officer’s Club

 Cadets will arrive Salt Lake City one day before class begins and be transported to Wendover. Dinner at the Officer's Club and and in-processing with the Quartermaster for flight gear, study materials, etc. (No vaccination shots required…)
Four days of ground school and flying. Transportation to Salt Lake City after the graduation ceremony.
